The big news from WUPS! is that with effect from Monday 25th January our regular meeting nights on the 2nd and 4th Mondays in the month will now be at THE INN ON THE GREEN at Scaynes Hill (address as per the bottom of the opening page).
We have decided to make the move due to the uncertainty of being able to continue with our scheduled meetings at the Rose and Crown in Fletching due to the changes they are making to their internal activities. We have thanked them for the facilities that they provided to enable us to start the club last April, and for their ongoing support as our membership has expanded since. The Rose and Crown say that they have enjoyed being part of our success to date, and have wished us well for the future. Indeed they hope that we might return there to perform at some time in the future!
The INN ON THE GREEN have kindly offered us the regular accommodation that we need, and the space that should enable us to grow further. We thank them for that and hope that our association will be a long and happy one.
So, for all our existing members and any new potential members that may wish to come along and join in, we look forward to seeing you at 8.00pm on 25th January.
