Hello Wupsters! Just a note to confirm that the next WUPS! meeting will be on Monday 26th August at 8pm. We are aware that this is a Bank Holiday but we decided to crash on regardless and at least you’ll have somewhere to shelter from the rain!
After our last successful meeting last Monday we will be repeating the same format again i.e.
finishing off books 1 and 2
playing around with ‘When I’m Sixty Four’ again with the revisions that Lyn is preparing (thank you Lyn)
asking for choices from the two books, and hoping that the chooser might lead off the song
having another go with the little strips that Joe supplied to play the instrumental tab from All My Loving (book2 page 2). It would be great if you all managed a little practice before the meeting.
and, as always, there will be space for the odd solo for anyone who wants to try a performance (one song only please)
We are trying our best to engender an ‘inclusive’ feeling in the club where everyone feels that they can contribute without being shy about it, and I hope you will agree that that was certainly evident at the last meeting. After all – you’re a great bunch of people!
Next Gig is Lindfield Arts Festival on the evening of Friday 20th September.
