Hi Folks, I’m delighted to report that our first meeting in our new home THE INN ON THE GREEN in Scaynes Hill was a great success with the new venue receiving much praise from the members present. The larger room, better lighting and somewhere to park the car were all appreciated!
The programme for the meeting included a mixture of songs from volumes 1, 2 and 3, plus trying out two new songs to see if they should be included in our next volume. They were ‘Alleluia’ and ‘Streets of London’ and both were considered worthy of inclusion.
The format for the next meeting will follow similar lines.
We are currently having a drive to increase our membership base from the present 20 up to in the region of 30 so that we are always sure of a healthy attendance at our meetings. Any non-members reading this – please come along and join us and have some fun.
The next meeting’s 8pm on 8th February, we look forward to seeing you there!
